After having cloudy skies and rain yesterday, we were determined to spend some time in the sun today! So, we set off with a small cooler with water and snacks. We rented a cute little paddle boat on Lake Julian, a very small lake that is only three miles from where we live. We pedaled our way out to the middle of the lake and simply floated for an hour. It was great, and we plan to go back soon with a full lake picnic!

So when I first saw the title, I instantly thought - I didn't know there was a Julian lake.... meaning Julian, Ca. ;) Do you ever think of Julian, CA when you go to that lake? My uncle Billy still lives up there. I love Julian. I bet I would love your lake too!:)
